Welcome to the fifth grade ELA web page. I believe that all students are capable of learning and are unique individuals who need a secure, caring, and stimulating atmosphere in which to grow emotionally, intellectually, physically, and socially. It is my desire as an educator to help students meet their fullest potential. I am a native of Gates County and I graduated with a BS from East Carolina University. I have been teaching at Gatesville Elementary School since 1994.
